【要約】【目的】手指を汚すことなく、高い着色効果(染毛効果)が得られ、かつその後の色持ちにも優れた染毛剤組成物及び該染毛剤組成物を用いた頭髪の染色方法を提供すること。【構成】本発明の染毛剤組成物は、芳香族アルコール1〜10重量%及び酸性染料0.005〜0.5重量%を含有し、粘度が2000cps以下である。また、本発明の頭髪の染色方法は、上記の本発明の染毛剤組成物を頭髪に塗布した後、蒸気を噴霧できるブラシ又はクシ状の器具を用いて蒸気を噴霧しながらブラッシングを行い、その後、余分な染料を水洗除去することを特徴とする。
