本発明は、歯髄類似細胞(DPMSC)の単離された集団、ならびに、これらの細胞を単離する方法および用いる方法を提供する。DPMSC集団は、CD10、CD29、CD13、CD44、CD49a、CD49d、CD59、CD73、CDw90、CD105、Oct-4のアイソフォームAおよびB、Nanog、Sox-2、SSEA-4に関して非常に均質である。上記集団は、約28〜30時間の平均倍加速度を有する。上記DPMSCは、外胚葉系統、内胚葉系統または中胚葉系統の細胞型のうち、1つ以上に分化する可能性を有する。

歯髄類似細胞(DPMSC)の単離された集団であって、前記集団中の前記細胞の少なくとも90%が、以下のマーカー、CD10、CD13、CD29、CD44、CD49a、CD49d、CD59、CD73、CD90、CD105、Oct-4のアイソフォームAおよびB、Nanog、Sox-2、SSEA-4のそれぞれを共発現する、集団。
