【請求項1】電子蓄積リングに自由電子レーザー装置およびQスイッチ制御装置を設けた長波長コヒーレント光発生装置において、前記Qスイッチ制御装置により、自由電子レーザー装置をQスイッチ法に基づいて駆動し、電子蓄積リング内の共振器内出力を高め、電子バンチと光パルスとの相互作用を繰り返すことによって生じるバンチ形状の歪みによるコヒーレント放射を誘起させ、サブミリ波からミリ波程度の長波長のコヒーレント光を発生させることを特徴とする長波長コヒーレント光発生装置。
