【請求項1】 撥水性面に液滴を保持する親水性のパターンを配された基板、 溶質分子を含む液滴を前記基板上に形成させる手段、 前記基板上に形成した前記液滴を前記親水性のパターン上で移動させる手段、 前記パターン上を移動する前記液滴にレーザービームを照射するためのレーザー光源、 前記液滴を透過した前記レーザービームの光の強度を検出する第1の光検出器、 前記パターン上を移動する前記液滴に白色光を照射するための光源、 前記液滴を透過した前記白色光を検出する第2の光検出器、および 前記液滴が前記レーザービームおよび前記白色光を横切って移動する際の、前記レーザービームの強度の変化に基づいて前記液滴の大きさを算出し、前記白色光の変化に基づいて前記液滴の吸光度を算出する演算手段を備える、吸光分光システム。
