【請求項1】 垂直磁気記録媒体に、磁気ヘッドから印加される磁場に加えて、直線偏光の交流磁場を同時に印加し、なおかつ前記交流磁場の周波数を周期的に変調させることにより記録を行うことを特徴とする磁気記録方法。
