【請求項1】 吸着材を用いて水中の燐酸イオンを除去する方法において、前記吸着材は硫酸アルミニウムを被着させた活性アルミナ粒子であり、前記活性アルミナ粒子の一端部から対向端部まで硫黄濃度を測定した際の硫黄濃度分布が方形型分布であり、前記吸着材をpH5〜8に調整した水と接触させることを特徴とする水中の燐酸イオンの除去方法。
