【請求項1】屈曲振動と伸縮振動をそれぞれ独立して励振するため、屈曲振動を励振する電極と伸縮振動を励振する電極を別々に設けた超音波モータ用振動子であって、前記屈曲振動を励振する電極が、屈曲固有振動モードの歪みが所定の値以上となる領域に前記電極の外形曲線部が前記歪みの等高線上に略沿うように配置したことを特徴とする超音波モータ用振動子。
