【請求項1】対象物表面の拡散反射スペクトルを測定し、前記対象物表面の位置情報とその位置における拡散反射スペクトルとを含む複数の画素データを取得する第1のステップと、前記第1のステップで取得した拡散反射スペクトルを多次元ベクトルとみなし、この多次元ベクトルと基準ベクトルとのなす角度を求める第2のステップと、前記第2のステップで求めた角度及び画素データの位置情報に基づき、前記対象物表面の分子情報を反映している指標を求める第3のステップとを備えたことを特徴とするメラノーマ鑑別指標の導出方法。
