【請求項1】(a)第1の金属と該第1の金属よりも酸化されにくい第2の金属とをイオン液体に蒸着することにより、前記第1及び第2の金属からなる合金の中実ナノ粒子が分散したイオン液体を得る工程と、 (b)前記中実ナノ粒子が分散したイオン液体を、酸化ガスを含有するガス雰囲気中で酸化することにより、前記中実ナノ粒子のコア部分が空洞になると共に該空洞に前記第2の金属の粒子が残ったジングルベル型構造の中空ナノ粒子を得る工程と、 を含み、 前記第1の金属はAl,In又はGaであり、前記第2の金属はAu,Pt,Pd,Rh,Ru又はIrである、 中空ナノ粒子の製法。
