【請求項1】 ゼラチンを主成分とするゼラチンビトリゲルの製造方法であって、以下の工程: (1)精製ゼラチンを生理的な塩濃度と水素イオン濃度(pH)を保持する平衡塩類溶液に溶解させた後に、不溶性コラーゲンまたは再線維化が可能なコラーゲンを含む水溶液を添加して得た混和水溶液を冷却することでゲル化させ、ゼラチンを主成分とするゼラチンゲルを作製する工程; (2)ゼラチンゲルを乾燥させ、ガラス化したゼラチンゲル乾燥体を作製する工程; (3)ゼラチンゲル乾燥体に紫外線を照射する工程;および (4)前記工程(3)を経たゼラチンゲル乾燥体を再水和し、ゼラチンビトリゲルを作製する工程 を含むことを特徴とするゼラチンビトリゲルの製造方法。
