【請求項1】 送信用探触子を用いて試験体内に超音波を伝搬させ、受信用探触子で前記試験体内を伝搬した透過波を受信し、前記透過波の振幅から前記試験体が接している物質が液体であるか気体であるかを判別する液体検知方法であって、 前記試験体中に伝搬させる超音波の周波数をf[MHz]、前記試験体の厚さをt[mm]としたとき、 1.2≦f×t≦5.6 という関係を満足するように、前記試験体中に伝搬させる超音波の周波数を、前記試験体の厚さに応じて変化させる 液体検知方法。
