Claim (excerpt)：

供試物質と、少なくともChtop遺伝子のイントロン2(Int2)におけるChtop結合部位及び/又はChtop遺伝子のエキソン2(Ex2)におけるChtop結合部位を含む核酸領域を転写したmRNAとを接触させる工程と、 上記供試物質が上記mRNAにおけるChtop結合部位とChtopタンパク質との結合を促進する、及び/又は上記mRNAにおけるChtop結合部位に結合したChtopタンパク質とスプライシング制御因子(hnRNP)との結合を促進する場合に、当該供試物質をChtop関連疾患治療剤の候補物質とする工程とを備える、 Chtop関連疾患治療剤のスクリーニング方法。
