【請求項1】 パタン化されたグラフェンのプラズモン共鳴を利用するテラヘルツ帯用の光学素子において、 グラフェンパタンを誘電体あるいは真空を挟んで積層したキャパシタと、 対向する前記グラフェンパタンの間に印加する電圧の調整が可能な電源とを備え、 複数の前記キャパシタを誘電体あるいは真空を介して積層し、 前記キャパシタの積層間隔を、前記キャパシタと共鳴するテラヘルツ光の波長の1/20から1/8とし、 複数の前記電源から前記複数のキャパシタに独立に電圧を印加することを特徴とする光学素子。
