【請求項1】 ウィスパリングギャラリーモードの光共振器の所定箇所で前記光共振器に光結合する光導波路に光を供給した状態で、前記光導波路から出力された光の周波数を測定する第1工程と、 前記測定をしている状態で、前記光共振器からなる検出部を前記光共振器と光結合可能な範囲で変位計測対象に近づけて、前記変位計測対象と前記検出部との相対的な位置を変更する第2工程と を備えることを特徴とする変位計測方法。
