Research overview：
微生物の発酵機能を担う代謝酵素群を自由自在に組み合わせ、さまざまな化学品を生産できる人工代謝システムを開発します。この手法を用いて、第3世代バイオ燃料としての実用化が期待されるブタノールの生産に取り組み、これまでの発酵プロセスを圧倒的に凌駕する生産効率を達成することを目標とします。
