Research overview：
タンパク質の凝集は、認知症や糖尿病など様々な病気の原因となります。生体がタンパク質凝集を防ぐ仕組みを理解することは、基礎科学的にも将来の医療応用においても重要な課題です。本研究では、細胞外小胞の分泌・伝播を介し、生体がタンパク質凝集を防ぐ仕組みを明らかにするとともに、細胞外小胞の生体恒常性における役割を明らかにします。これにより、神経変性疾患・認知症の診断・治療法開発に有用な基礎知見を提供します。
