Research overview：
イオントラップは特殊な電極を用いて気体原子イオンを空中に長時間捕獲する技術で、原子イオンの高度な量子状態操作を可能にします。本研究では、電極に微細加工技術を取り入れてオンチップ化することで量子システムを集積化し、光通信や各種計測技術の向上に貢献する高性能な光クロックを開発します。またオンチップ化によって初めて実現できる多様なイオン配列を利用し、超放射レーザーなどの新奇な物理系の創出を目指します。
