【請求項1】 一方の空間に配置された被投影物の実鏡映像を他方の空間に結像する結像光学系であって、 前記一方の空間と他方の空間とを仕切る素子平面を有し、被投影物から発せられた光を透過させて被投影物の等倍映像を結像させる結像光学部材と、前記素子平面の両側に夫々設けられた第1光学部材及び第2光学部材と、を備え、 前記第1光学部材への入射光と前記第2光学部材からの出射光とが、光線の進行方向を除いてパリティ対称の関係となり、 前記第2光学部材のうち観察者から視認される物理的境界面が非平坦面であることを特徴とする結像光学系。
