Research overview：
小腸や大腸では、上皮細胞・免疫細胞・腸内細菌がお互いを認識し制御し合うことで健康な状態が保たれいていると考えられてきました。しかし、3者の研究が進んだ現在でも、多くの消化管疾患の発症原因は解明されていません。本研究では、腸に豊富に存在する間葉系ストローマ細胞を中心に据えた腸内細菌・上皮細胞・免疫細胞により形成される「異種細胞間相互作用」を理解し、その異常が腸管組織におよぼす影響を明らかにします。
