イオンを試料表面に衝突させて、試料を削り取るイオンミリング加工方法において、前記試料のイオンの衝突個所を含む前記試料領域に、薄膜を形成し、当該薄膜を形成した試料に前記イオンを衝突させることを特徴とするイオンミリング加工方法。
