【課題】貼り合わせ基板を噴流の液体で分離する際、キャビテーションの崩壊(空洞現象)が発生することでその際の衝撃圧力が基板表面に影響を与えることが有り、これが最終的にELTRAN(登録商標)品質の劣化(絶縁層上に単結晶Si層に欠陥を形成)を招く要因となることが有る。【解決手段】分離装置にキャビテーション崩壊時発生する圧力の影響を低減できる様、液温を制御し比較的高い圧力で気泡化する機構を有する。【選択図】図1

内部に分離層を有する試料を液体により分離する分離装置で、試料を保持する保持部と、前記保持部によって保持された試料の分離層に向けて液体を噴射するノズルと、液体を前記ノズルに供給する液体供給部と、液体を昇温させる機構を備えた分離装置。
