Claim (excerpt)：

親水性表面を備えた複合材であって、基材と、前記基材の表面に接合され光触媒性半導体材料を含む層とを備え、前記光触媒性材料は光励起に応じて前記層の表面を水との接触角に換算して約5°以下に親水化することを特徴とする複合材。
