リチウム金属又はリチウムを吸蔵放出可能な物質を負極活物質とし、Li<SB>x</SB> CoO<SB>2</SB> (ただし0<x≦1.25)を正極活物質とする非水溶媒二次電池において、前記Li<SB>x</SB> CoO<SB>2</SB> の結晶のC軸格子定数cが1.4044nm≦c≦1.4051nmであることを特徴とする非水溶媒二次電池。
