【要約】【課題】 従来の吸着材に光触媒を付加させた脱臭装置では、吸着材と光触媒の接触面積が小さくなり、吸着材に吸着された臭気成分を効率よく光触媒の光活性により分解されず、吸着性能が低い成分である一酸化炭素、窒素酸化物等は除去できない問題がある。また、ハニカム活性炭等の吸着材を用いると焼成温度が1000°Cと高温になる問題がある。【解決手段】 光触媒1と、金属酸化物系の常温触媒2とを基材4に担持する。また、光触媒1と常温触媒2との配合割合は、光触媒1と常温触媒2との合計重量に対して、常温触媒2の重量割合を22%以下とする。これによって、光触媒の光活性性能の劣化が抑えられる。
