【要約】【課題】歩幅を正確に求めることができる歩幅測定方法及びその装置を提供する。【解決手段】加速度センサ30の出力を増幅部20にて増幅し、フーリエ変換部22でフーリエ変換し、フィルター部24にて歩行による加速度成分のみを取り出し、A/D変換部26がデェジタル値に変換してCPU12へ出力する。そして、CPU12が、この加速度から、対応する歩幅をROM18に保持されているテーブルを検索して求め、表示部14に表示する。

人体に取り付けられた加速度センサからの出力中の人の移動に伴う加速度以外の成分を取り除くステップと、上記ステップにより成分の除かれた加速度に対応する歩幅を、加速度と歩幅との対応テーブルから検索するステップと、から成ることを特徴とする歩幅測定方法。
