【要約】【構成】正極と、リチウムを活物質とする負極と、非水電解液と、セパレータとを備えた非水電解液電池において、前記非水電解液として、実質的にエチレンカーボネートと、ジエチルカーボネート及び/又はジメチルカーボネートとからなる混合溶媒に、トリフルオロメタンスルホン酸リチウムを溶かしてなる溶液が使用されている。【効果】非水電解液が特定の混合溶媒及び特定の溶質からなるので、負極の表面に被膜が形成されにくく、負極の表面と非水電解液との界面の抵抗が小さい。このため、本発明電池は、低温でも大電流を取り出すことが可能であり、低温での放電容量が大きい。
