【課題】 従来の生体用高分子材料の問題点を解消し、耐摩耗性が高く、ダイヤモンドライクカーボン層が剥離しにくく、長期間生体内に留置することができる生体用高分子材料の提供。【解決手段】 高分子材料、好ましくはアクリル系ポリマーまたはポリウレタンの表面を、好ましくは酸素、水蒸気、またはアルゴンを用いてプラズマ照射した後に化学蒸着法により、好ましくはダイヤモンドライクカーボン被覆層の厚さが0.01〜3.0μmである生体用高分子材料。【選択図】 図1
