【課題】セリシンと水との混合物から、50万程度の大きな分子量のグレードを含むいくつかの分子量のグレードに分級されたセリシンに精製する効率的な方法を提供しようとする。【解決手段】下管廃液等のセリシンと水との混合物を濾布で濾過し、濾過の残留物をエタノール等と混合し、第二の濾布で濾過して乾燥する一方、第二の濾布濾過濾液を限外濾過し、保持液に過酸化水素を加えて該保持液中のセリシンをゲル化させた後該保持液を濾過し乾燥する。更に、前記限外濾過の濾液及び/又は前記ゲルを濾過した濾液を限外濾過し、濾液を乾燥するセリシンの精製方法である。【選択図】図1
