【要約】【課題】 3D画像のしきい値を適切なものとすることが容易にできるようにする。【解決手段】 マウス等の入力装置22で視方向を入力すると、これに応じて視方向設定部15が視方向設定命令を3D画像作成部13に送り、3D画像作成部13においてその視方向からの3D画像の作成が行われる。同時に、視方向設定命令はMIP画像作成部12にも送られ、その視方向からのMIP画像が得られる。これらの3D画像およびMIP画像は画像メモリ14を経て画像モニター装置21に送られて表示されるので、種々の視方向から3D画像とMIP画像とを比較観察でき、適切なしきい値の設定が可能となる。
Claim (excerpt)：
視方向を任意に入力する手段と、該入力された視方向に応じて、3次元的な画像データから上記の視方向より見た3D画像を作成する手段と、上記入力された視方向に応じて、上記と同一の画像データから上記と同一の視方向のMIP画像を作成する手段とを備えることを特徴とする医用画像処理装置。
