ダイヤモンド、CBNなどの超砥粒を台金に一層配列してろう付けした研削砥石において、砥粒粒径の1/3〜1/2倍のろう材厚さで砥粒を保持するとともに、隣り合う砥粒との間に砥粒粒径の2/3〜2.5倍の幅で台金素地を露出させた部分を含むチップポケットを規則的に形成した研削砥石。
