複数のサーバとそれらのサーバにて共有のディスク記憶装置とを具え、各サーバはブート情報を持ち、ディスク記憶装置は複数のデバイス番号を定義できるサーバシステムにおいて、各サーバがアクセス対象としたいデバイスの番号を予め前記ブート情報に登録し、システム立上げ時、番号登録したデバイスのみをサーチして自身のシステムに認識させることを特徴とする接続デバイス認識方法。
