少なくとも一方が透明な一対の基板と、該一対の基板の間に狭持され、高分子壁に実質的に包囲された複数の液晶領域を有する液晶層と、該液晶層の注入孔領域を除く周辺領域を包囲し、該一対の基板を互いに接着するシール剤と、該注入孔を封止する封止剤と、を有する液晶表示素子であって、該高分子壁は紫外線硬化型樹脂を含み、該封止剤は可視光硬化型樹脂を含む液晶表示素子。
