被検出ガスの濃度に対応する検出信号を出力する検出素子と、前記検出素子を作動温度に加熱するためのヒータと、を備え、前記ヒータは、前記検出素子の熱容量が大きい箇所では、隣接するヒータ間の間隔が短くなるように配置され、前記検出素子の熱容量が小さい箇所では、隣接するヒータ間の間隔が長くなるように配置される、ガスセンサ。
