【請求項1】合金からなる基材を酸化して基材内部に金属酸化物からなる研削材を形成する内部酸化工程と、前記研削材周辺に存在する前記基材の少なくとも一部を研磨することにより除去して前記研削材を前記基材表面に突出させる研磨工程とを含むことを特徴とする研削砥石の製造方法。
