【請求項1】界面活性剤が吸着した金属微粒子が分散した水分散液に、該金属微粒子に吸着した界面活性剤の一部を脱離させる溶解液を添加して該金属微粒子を水分散液の液面に薄膜状に凝集させる工程(凝集工程)、該金属微粒子が凝集した薄膜を基板に移し取る工程(転移工程)、基板に転移した金属微粒子の凝集体薄膜を親水化処理する工程(親水化処理工程)からなり、上記凝集工程から上記親水化処理工程を順に繰り返して該金属微粒子を多層に形成することを特徴とする多層膜基板の製造方法。
