【請求項1】配列番号1に記載のアミノ酸配列からなるヒト7回膜貫通型タンパク質に対する抗体の抗原結合部位を決定する方法であって異なる膜外領域に1又は数個のアミノ酸の置換および欠失から選択される変異が加えられた変異体の一群を出芽酵母発現系で発現させる工程、前記出芽酵母発現系で発現させた変異体の一群を抗原として、前記膜貫通型タンパク質に対する抗体を作用させて抗原-抗体反応を行う工程、抗原-抗体反応が検出されない変異体を特定し、当該変異体において変異が加えられている膜外領域を、前記抗体の抗原結合部位又は抗原結合部位を含む領域と判定する工程、を含むことを特徴とする、方法。
