【請求項1】 人とのコミュニケーション行動を行うロボットを含むコミュニケーションロボットシステムであって、 前記人に装着され、人の眼に向けて赤外線を照射する赤外線発光装置、 前記人に装着され、前記人の眼の赤外線画像を撮影する第1赤外線カメラ、 前記人に装着され、前記人の視野画像を撮影する視野カメラ、 前記赤外線画像および前記視野画像に基づいて前記人の注視点を検出する注視点検出手段、 前記ロボットに装着され、赤外線画像を撮影する第2赤外線カメラ、 前記ロボットに装着され、前記第2赤外線カメラによって前記人の眼に反射した赤外線を検出することによって前記人の眼の位置を検出する眼位置検出手段、および 前記注視点検出手段によって検出した前記人の注視点および前記眼位置検出手段によって検出した前記人の眼の位置に応じて視線を動かす視線制御手段を備える、コミュニケーションロボットシステム。
