【請求項1】 プロテイン-O-マンノシルトランスフェラーゼ遺伝子、α-1,6-マンノシルトランスフェラーゼ遺伝子、α-1,3マンノシルトランスフェラーゼ遺伝子、及びマンノース-1-リン酸付加制御遺伝子が機能欠損しており、かつα-1,2-マンノシダーゼI遺伝子が導入されている、Man5GlcNAc2で表されるN-結合型糖鎖の産生能を有するがO-結合型糖鎖の産生能が低下した変異酵母であって、以下の(a)〜(c): (a)受託番号FERM BP-11469若しくはFERM BP-11470 (b)受託番号FERM BP-11474 (c)受託番号FERM BP-11472若しくはFERM BP-11473 のいずれかの受託番号で示される、変異酵母。
