【請求項1】ブラウン運動している微粒子をブラウン運動を停止させて観察する装置であって、この装置は透明板と板状チップとの間に前記粒子が進入可能なギャップが形成され、前記板状チップ及び透明板の少なくとも一方は相手方に対して相対的に接近・離反可能とされ、離反した状態で前記ギャップは観察対象である微粒子の平均径よりも大きくなり、接近した状態で前記ギャップは観察対象である微粒子の平均径よりも小さくなるように設定されていることを特徴とする分散系の観察装置。
