【請求項1】 TAR DNA結合タンパク質-43の細胞内存在量に関連する神経系疾患の認定を補助する方法であって、被検体由来の細胞内における、mt-tRNAAsn、mt-tRNAGln、mt-tRNAGlu及びmt-tRNAProからなる群から選択される少なくとも一のmt-tRNAの存在量、 又は mt-tRNAAsn、mt-tRNAGln、mt-tRNAGlu及びmt-tRNAProからなる群から選択される少なくとも一のmt-tRNAとTAR DNA結合タンパク質-43との結合量 の少なくとも一つを測定する測定工程、及び 前記測定工程で得られた測定値を健常体由来の細胞内における対応する測定値と比較して、両者の値に統計学的に有意な差がある場合には、その被検体が前記神経系疾患に罹患しているとみなす認定補助工程 を含む、前記方法。
