【請求項1】金属酸化物半導体の厚膜から成る感ガス部とヒータを有するMEMSガスセンサを備えるガス検出装置であって、サンプルガスの除湿手段と、ヒータをオフした状態のMEMSガスセンサへ、除湿後のサンプルガスを供給するガス流路と、 MEMSガスセンサがサンプルガスと接触した後に、前記ヒータをオンすることにより前記金属酸化物半導体を動作温度へ加熱し、次いで前記ヒータをオフする、ヒータ制御部と、加熱開始から30m秒~100m秒の間の前記金属酸化物半導体の抵抗値から、サンプルガス中の検出対象ガスを検出するガス検出部、を有するガス検出装置。
