【請求項1】以下の工程(a)及び(b)を備えたことを特徴とする、被検対象における前癌病変の有無の予測を補助する方法であって、前記前癌病変が、大腸の進行腺腫、胃の過形成ポリーブ若しくは胃腺腫である、前記方法。(a)被検対象から採取された血清又は血漿中の二本鎖DNAの濃度又は量を測定する工程;(b)工程(a)で測定した二本鎖DNAの濃度又は量が所定のカットオフ値以上の場合に、被検対象において前癌病変を有するとの予測を補助する工程;
