古典群の表現と組合せ論
古典群,シュバレー群,ワイル群,及びそのq-アナローグである量子群,ヘッケ環の表現を具体的に記述することは,最近の数理物理学の発展の中でも重要な役割を果している。その具体的記述に当っては,超幾何級数等の特殊関数及びヤング図形を用いた組合せ論的な方法手段は欠かせない。長期的には数理物理学の現象をきちんと数学的対象としてとらえ,興味ある対象を抽出することを目標とする。
