熱可塑性基材表面に光触媒層が保持された光触媒機能を有する多機能材において、前記光触媒層の上層部は外気と接するように露出され、また前記光触媒層の下層部はその一部が熱可塑性基材内に埋設されており、前記光触媒層のうち少なくとも露出する表層を構成する光触媒粒子は互いに結合されていることを特徴とする光触媒機能を有する多機能材。
