複数の車両が車群走行をするための車群走行制御システムにおいて、車群を導く目標車両を設定する手段と、目標車両の位置、速度等に代表される運動情報を追従車両に伝達する手段と、を備え、各追従車両は、前記運動情報に基づいて自車両の車群走行制御を行う構成からなる車群走行制御システム。
