【課題】小さな電界で大きな出力のX線を安定した状態で発生することができる、安価で性能の良いX線発生装置を提供する。【解決手段】密閉可能な真空ハウジング内に、導電性繊維の円周方向に放射状に酸化亜鉛系ウィスカーを成長させた電極材料により構成された冷陰極と、陽極を間隔を空けて対向配置することによりX線発生装置を構成する。冷陰極と陽極の間には、メッシュ状の引出し電極を配置することができる。好ましい酸化亜鉛系ウィスカーとしては、アルミニウム添加酸化亜鉛ウィスカーが用いられる。【選択図】図1

密閉可能な真空ハウジング内に、導電性繊維の円周方向に放射状に酸化亜鉛系ウィスカーを成長させた電極材料により構成された冷陰極と、陽極を間隔を空けて対向配置したことを特徴とするX線発生装置。
