【請求項1】 正極と負極と非水電解質とを備え、正極にマンガン酸化物を主体とする正極材料を使用した非水電解質電池において、上記正極として、上記マンガン酸化物を主体とする正極材料に、硫酸アンモニウム塩をマンガン酸化物中のマンガンに対して0.1〜30mol%の範囲で添加させて熱処理し、硫酸アンモニウムとマンガン酸化物との複合酸化物を形成したものを用いたことを特徴とする非水電解質電池。
