【請求項1】列車に取り付けられ矩形形状とされた単一の帯状テープである識別子を撮影する撮影手段と、前記撮影手段によって撮影された画像中に前記識別子が含まれているか否かを判断し、前記識別子が検知された場合に、前記画像中における前記識別子の位置に応じて、前記列車の停車位置を判別する停止位置検出部と、を備え、前記停止位置検出部は、前記識別子の特徴量として前記識別子の長さ、太さ、又は色を認識し、前記特徴量に応じて列車の種類を判別することを特徴とする列車情報判別装置。
