Research overview：
他殖性作物である普通ソバをモデルとして植物の近交弱勢に関わる評価手法の確立と分子遺伝学的機構の解明に挑戦します。本研究では兄弟交配により近交係数を高めたソバ系統群に対して、画像解析による弱勢形質評価化手法の開発・弱勢形質関連伝子座の特定・メチローム/トランスクリプトームによる弱勢機構の探索を行います。本研究の成果は近交弱勢を未然に回避した新たな環境適応型作物の創出に貢献し得ると考えています。
