Research overview：
低温域で高い熱電特性を示すバルク状熱電材料の実現を目指します。従来手法では作製が困難とされていた準安定相バルク状試料を、異分野の手法である液体急冷凝固法と独自の手法である室温高圧プレスを組合わせる事で具現化します。さらに、最先端の分析と第一原理計算を相互補完的に用いることで、熱電特性の最適化を実現します。これにより、低温廃熱利用環境発電への道筋をつけることに貢献します。
